On December 3, Midea Group and Inovance Technology officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement, launching comprehensive and in-depth collaboration in key areas such as smart elevators, industrial robotics, low-carbon industrial parks, and digitalization. Through full-chain cooperation encompassing joint technological research, scenario implementation, and ecosystem synergy, the partnership aims to create a benchmark for practicing "new quality productive forces" in the manufacturing industry.
According to the agreement, both parties will jointly create an industrial cooperation model characterized by "technological complementarity‒scenario implementation‒ecosystem synergy." In terms of technological complementarity, focusing on integrated elevator control systems, they will work together to advance industry technological progress and the intelligent transformation of elevators, while engaging in deep research and development-level and ecosystem-level collaborations in related business areas.
Regarding robotics, in addition to integrating AI intelligence into industrial robots, both sides will also advance humanoid robotics, jointly tackling core technologies such as joint actuation and motion control to facilitate the transition of humanoid robots from laboratory settings to real-world industrial applications.
Green and low-carbon cooperation is also a key focus of this strategic arrangement. Leveraging its comprehensive service capabilities in green energy utilization, Midea Group will provide Inovance Technology with customized green solutions for office and industrial plant facilities. These solutions will cover the application of core products such as HVAC systems, industrial heat pumps, and magnetic bearing chillers, jointly creating a benchmark case for the low-carbon transformation of the industry.
Focusing on the pain points of digital transformation in the manufacturing industry, both parties will also collaborate in the field of digitalization to jointly promote the development and refinement of digital technologies in the manufacturing sector.
