On November 29, Meiling Co., Ltd. of Changhong announced a project involving technical upgrades to be carried out by its subsidiaries. The announcement stated that the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Sichuan Changhong Air Conditioning Co., Ltd., plans to invest 12.5784 million yuan in self-raised funds to implement the technical upgrade project.
According to reports, competition in the air conditioning industry has intensified, with many companies shifting their front-end supporting processes to in-house production. The core purpose of Changhong Air Conditioning’s promotion of this technical upgrade is to optimize production processes, reduce manufacturing costs, and enhance product competitiveness in the market. This technical upgrade project focuses on the self-manufacturing of air conditioning pipeline components, with an expected construction period of five months. Upon completion, it will help Changhong Air Conditioning optimize its production processes, improve manufacturing capabilities, lay a solid foundation for sustained production efficiency improvements, and strengthen market competitiveness.
