The German Schunk Sonosystems , with a history of over 100 years, has always been a leader in ultrasonic welding technology in the industry. With the expansion of its business scope, Schunk Sonosystems (Taicang) Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Schunk, was established in Taicang, China on September 16, 2022, and officially put into operation in January 2023.
Schunk Sonosystems (Taicang) fully utilizes the technology of its German headquarters to produce ultrasonic metal welding machines with high technological content and added value in Taicang. Compared to traditional welding techniques, ultrasonic welding achieves molecular bonding between two different materials or the same material through high-frequency ultrasonic vibrations of 20000 times per second. This not only results in high welding strength, but also stable performance and beautiful appearance. The welding process does not require the addition of other materials. These high-tech welding equipment will be widely used in new energy vehicles.
