The 9th Egypt international Exhibition and Conference for Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Thermal Insulation and Energy (HVAC-R) was grandly held at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC) from May 5th to 7th.
HVAC-R EGYPT EXPO is the 9th stop of RACC2025 global promotion, aiming to comprehensively promote the 5th China International Air Conditioning, Heating, Ventilation Refrigeration and Cold Chain Expo (RACC2025) and invite global buyers to attend RACC2025. HVAC-R EGYPT EXPO (HVAC-R) is jointly organized by the Egyptian Refrigeration Association and Cairo Expo Exhibition Group. It is held once a year and is the largest and most professional international air conditioning and refrigeration exhibition in Egypt. It is also an important way for global HVAC refrigeration and ventilation enterprises to understand new trends, technologies, and products in the industry.

The RACC organizing committee has always attached great importance to the Middle East and Africa markets, and has maintained close contact with the organizers of the Egyptian HVAC and Refrigeration Exhibition, sharing resources and supporting each other.
Not only that, RACC has also served as the Chinese general agent for the HVAC-R EGYPT EXPO (HVAC-R) for multiple consecutive years. Egypt, as a strategic location for the Middle East and Africa market and an important node of the "the Belt and Road" initiative, is attracting more and more Chinese enterprises by virtue of its unique geographical advantages, open investment policies and rapid economic development in that year. According to statistics, by 2024, the trade volume between China and Africa will reach 295 billion US dollars, which is more than four times the trade volume between the United States and Africa (about 70 billion US dollars). In just twenty years, China has replaced the United States as Africa's largest trading partner, and this trend is expected to accelerate.
At the same time, with the growing middle class in Egypt, the demand for household appliances is increasingly strong. According to Mordor Intelligence, the size of the Egyptian home appliance market is expected to reach approximately 5.5 billion US dollars in 2024 and 10.61 billion US dollars in 2029. According to the Egyptian Engineering Export Council (EEC), Egypt's engineering industry exports reached a record high of 4.392 billion US dollars from January to October 2024, a year-on-year increase of 24.2%, with household appliance exports growing by 5.1%. It can be seen that Egypt's strong domestic market demand and growing overseas market demand provide investment opportunities and development prospects for Chinese home appliance companies to invest in Egypt.
