Each year, the Portacool team exhibits at the largest HVACR marketplace gathering, the AHR Expo held in late January. This year, Portacool made a significant splash at the expo by proudly unveiling FIVE new portable cooling innovations.
The first product introduced: the new Portacool Hurricane™ 370, an impressive 48” portable variable speed evaporative cooler that features patent-pending technology and a unique design to deliver unparalleled velocity.
“Our engineers have challenged the laws of physics with the Portacool Hurricane 370 and we couldn’t be more proud of their accomplishment,” says Ben Wulf, CEO of Portacool, LLC. “This monster evaporative cooler is really one-of-a-kind and we are excited about changing the landscape in the portable cooling category with this launch.”
The Hurricane 370 features 28,500 CFM to provide a dramatic surge of cooling power. This evaporative cooler comes uniquely equipped with six technologically-advanced Cat5 Air Boosters™ that are calibrated to engage automatically when the internal pressure rises inside the evaporative cooler. The result is the ability to provide a comfortably cool working environment for large industrial and outdoor workspaces.
Portacool also introduced the new Portacool Jetstream™ series of four distinctive portable evaporative coolers. The Jetstream Series features revitalized designs that generate significant airflow and provide superior cooling options for a variety of work environments. Available in four sizes, customers can select the Jetstream evaporative cooler that will best accommodate their space with cooling area options ranging from 1,125 to 5,625 square feet. The Portacool Jetstream 240, 250, 260 and 270 are equipped with KUUL Comfort™ evaporative media, the highest-quality evaporative media on the market made in the USA exclusively for Portacool products.
The new products were enthusiastically received both in the booth and at the New Product Theater Presentation.
We look forward to sharing more about these powerful cooling options in the months to come. In the meantime, be sure to take a look at our new 2016 catalog!
