On April 12, China Refrigeration Exhibition, the world’s largest professional exhibition in HVAC&R industry, opened grandly in Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
As a leading enterprise in China HVAC&R industry, Gree showed a variety of star products covering commercial air conditioners for residential application, freezing and refrigeration products, heat pump products for heating and core components. Gree also organized an academic conference with the theme of “Heat Supply Application of Air Source Heat Pump Technology in Cold Areas”. Also on that day, the 3rd “Golden Impreller Award” HVAC design competition was launched.
Many well-known enterprises all over the world attended the exhibition. Gree, taking one of the biggest booths in the exhibition, brought several world-leading products such as magenetic bearing inverter centrifugal chiller and high-efficiency permanent-magnet synchronous inverter centrifugal ice-storage chiller, which attracted much attention from visitors.
During the exhibition, Mr. Tan Jianming, Gree Assistant President and Vice Chief Engineer, was interviewed. He introduced that the exhibits in Gree booth are Gree’s brand new products, featuring high energy savings and high reliability. Among them, the high-efficiency permanent-magnet synchronous inverter centrifugal ice-storage chiller, accredited as “World Leading”, can operate to make ice at night when power load is low and store the coolness in the form of ice. Then it will stop the refrigeraing unit in the day when power load is high and release the coolness through ice melting for the demand of cooling units. In this case, power consumption peak time is switched to improve the efficiency of power generation unit and relieve the stress of power supply.
Mr. Luo Jijie, President of Building Environment and Energy Application Branch of China Engineering & Consulting Association and Designer of Air Force Engineering Research Bureau, thinks highly of Gree’s products and R&D strength. He said, “Over the years, Gree has focused on core technologies and has developed practical, suitable and user-friendly technologies and products.” For this, Mr. Pan Yunfang, Vice President of Building Environment and Energy Application Branch of China Engineering & Consulting Association and Chief Engineer of China Architecture Design Group also feels strongly that, “Gree always pursuits perfection and tries its best in both technology innovation and practical things.
