In the light of growing South and Eastern African sales, Kaltra strengthened its regional presence in cooperation with MTCA – one of the regional leaders headquartered in Port Louis, Mauritius. MTCA is well-experienced with installing, commissioning, and servicing Kaltra chillers and has a strong background in the maintenance of chillers of other brands, including replacing microchannel condenser coils.

“Mauritius and most of South/East African countries are water-stressed and regularly face seasonal water scarcity, so air-cooled HVAC equipment is a preferable choice. At the same instant, coastal marine climate with high humidity and air salinity contributes to high corrosion rates for air-cooled equipment which demand high-profile regular service to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Evidenced by years of collaboration, it should be noted that MTCA provides eminent services for its clients in both supplies and maintenance of HVAC equipment. Our close cooperation promises to be successful and beneficial for both parties,” said Paul Larson, head of business development at Kaltra.

Within the cooperation framework, Kaltra is now working on adopting its equipment for regional specificities, improving delivery times, and on exclusive warranty terms for the region.

Growing sales in the South/East Africa region motivated Kaltra to expand its presence in the region in cooperation with a regional leader in the HVAC market, MTCA.
