Carrier Transicold launched its energy-efficient Supra A refrigeration unit at the recent 14th annual Global Cold Chain Summit, organized by the China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing (CFLP) and the Global Cold Chain Alliance in China.
More than 1,000 industry experts attended the summit to discuss success cases and industry trends. Carrier Transicold served as vice chair of the CFLP Cold Chain Committee. During the summit, Carrier Transicold released the new diesel drive unit Supra A unit, which features a new APX control system with advanced microchip technology.
The Supra A unit offers + / - 0.8 C precise temperature control for temperature-sensitive perishables. The unit combines high efficiency, reduced carbon emissions and lower fuel consumption compared to previous Supra truck refrigeration units.
Cynthia Lu, Managing Director, Carrier Transicold Asia Pacific, delivered the keynote speech introducing the Supra A unit and describing the contribution of intelligent refrigeration units to the industry in terms of energy savings and emissions reduction, helping to support China’s double carbon goal of sustainable development.
