The Australian air conditioning, refrigeration and building services show, ARBS, already postponed to February 2021, has now been cancelled due to the Covid-19 virus.
The next event will now be ARBS 2022, scheduled for 27-29 April 2022 in Melbourne.
The 2020 biennial exhibition was originally planned to be held in May but due to the advent of the Covid-19 virus was postponed until February 15-17, 2021.
In an announcement this week, the organiser said: “It now appears certain that we will not be able to go ahead with the 2021 exhibition in February due to ongoing restrictions on gatherings, closed international borders and very limited travel permissions nationwide.
Due to the unknown outcome and the need to ensure the safety of all our participants long term we have decided to circumvent any further effects of the virus by moving ahead to our next planned edition of the exhibition in 2022.”
Instead of moving to Sydney as planned, the 2022 event will be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.
