Heatcraft Refrigeration Products announced a general price increase for customers effective January 1, 2019, on select commercial refrigeration products. This general price increase of 3.5% is driven by the announcement of tariffs on steel and aluminum, increases in freight costs, and various increases of component costs during the course of 2018.
“Heatcraft is continuously focused on minimizing the impact of cost increases through process improvements and productivity enhancements. The significance of ongoing increases has resulted in the need to adjust Heatcraft product pricing to the market to ensure that we continue to deliver best-in-class service and products to our customers,” said Jeff Pecoroni, Vice President, Sales, Heatcraft Refrigeration Products.
