Why Gree Need to Change Its Slogan——2017 HARFKO Revelation

This is the first year Gree, a Chinese household AC brand, exhibits in South Korea. Gree does not have a office in South Korea yet, but faces powerful competitors such as Samsung and LG. When interviewed by coowor.com chief reporter David Wen, Gree manager Zhang seems very confident because Gree has core technologies.  

Made in China, love by the world is Gree’s slogan, which actually make me feel very warm in a far far away land, but I think the Korean will not think so. The slogan sounds a bit narcissistic, when I ask some Korean, they told me why I should love a foreign brand, we have our own. Maybe Gree should consider a bit what other people may have in mind, because make me love another country’s product, always sounds like betrayal to ones own motherland. As Laozi, a Chinese wise man said, big image you can not see its shape, loud voice you can not hear its sound, Gree should put much effort into research and development, speak with its product other than empty slogan showing, then the world may love Gree the same as Apple.

Sanhua is not doubt the crown of hvac parts. Sanhua manager said Sanhua have been in South Korea for 10 years, has its own factory and marketing system. Sanhua has occupied 70-80% of its hvac parts home market, and plan to plunge into commercial market.

DunAn is also a industry leader, attends frequently at oversea may HVAC&R exhibitions. This is the first time DunAn exhibits in HARFKO. Dunan manager told me that DunAnhas registered as a legal entity in South Korea in 2015, supply its local customers from China’s factories. DunAn has big customer such as Samsung, LG, its business is still blooming in South Korea.  

South Korea HVAC&R market has been one of the top-notch in the world, winning in such market is extremely hard for Chinese companies, But some companies have already tastes success. We expect that made in China love by South Korea, by the world is not just an empty slogan but a daily reality in the near future.
