On October 15, the 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) officially opened. The Canton Fair will be held in three phases this year, with a total of 74,000 booths, 55 exhibition areas and 171 special areas. Among them, the first phase of the offline exhibition is themed "advanced manufacturing", including 19 exhibition areas in 5 sections: electronic appliances, industrial manufacturing, lighting and electrical, hardware tools, vehicles and two-wheeled vehicles.
According to reports, as of October 9, 125,000 overseas buyers have pre-registered. Among them, 75.7% of the countries jointly built the Belt and Road, 20% of the BRICS countries, 17.7% of the OECD member countries, 16.4% of the RCEP member countries, 13.4% of the Middle East countries, and 12.5% of the European and American countries. Pre-registered overseas buyers come from 203 countries and regions. From the perspective of industry categories, the number of pre-registered overseas buyers in electronics and home appliances, machinery, building materials and other industries ranks among the highest.
