One of the world’s major refrigeration and air conditioning shows, China Refrigeration Expo 2020, has been postponed due to the coronavirus.

Scheduled to take place from April 8-10 in Wuhan, the epicentre of the outbreak, China Refrigeration was expected to attract over 60,000 visitors from all over the world.

A statement on the exhibition’s website says the postponement was made “to fully assist the prevention and control of the epidemic, effectively cut off the transmission route of the virus, resolutely curb the spread of the epidemic, and ensure the safety and health of exhibitors and visitors”.

No date has yet been given for the rearranged event.
