Adande has announced a new programme of recruitment and investment following sustained growth in sales of refrigerated drawers.

The company has enjoyed a near 15 fold growth in the volume of sales since 2008, which the company has partly attributed to the company’s ‘hold the cold’ technology.

To maintain the momentum, Adande has committed to reinforcing its team to help to continue to deliver the highest levels of sales support and consultancy to key account customers, distributors and kitchen designers.

Consequently, Ben Aird has been promoted from the position of Regional Sales Manager to National Account Manager, after four years at the company. Adande has also recruited a new National Account Manager in the shape of James Kershaw, who has over 20 years of industry experience.

In a statement Adande said: “James is well respected for his knowledge of the catering sector and has worked previously for TrakHUPFER, CDS Wilman and Counterline, handling a wide variety of key accounts. In addition to managing existing business, James is also charged with developing new accounts in foodservice and food retailing markets.”

Karl Hodgson stressed that the company’s recruitment drive will not stop there: “We are actively seeking to appoint new personnel in account management and regional sales. We have nationwide opportunities, but we are especially keen to talk to candidates, with relevant industry experience, for positions in the key areas of London and the Home Counties.”

Adande’s recruitment drive comes at a time when the company is close to completing a £ multi million investment in new research, development and testing facilities, close to its existing premises in Lowestoft. The creation of the new facility is also providing additional job opportunities with the establishment of technical and engineering teams, as well as associated management, sales and administrative roles.

Adande’s says its new facility will provide additional resources for the evolution of its next generation of refrigerated drawer products, as well as facilitating the ongoing development of its patented Aircell air flow management system for open front, multi deck, refrigerated retail display cabinets.
