On October 23, 2025, the "Forum on the Current Status and Development of China's Frozen and Refrigerated Market" was successfully held at the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center. The forum focused on the "Current Status of China's Frozen and Refrigerated Market" and specially invited representatives from leading industry enterprises such as Ganghua, Xinya, Xinrui Welding, Chengsheng, and Zeshun. They exclusively shared insights into market demands, provided an in-depth analysis of the structural contradictions behind the industry's "involution," and jointly explored feasible paths for breaking the deadlock and restructuring.

At the forum, Mr. Sun Shaoxi, Executive President of the Jiangsu Provincial Refrigeration Industry Association, emphasized in his address that the industry is currently at a critical juncture of energy revolution and intelligent transformation, with broad market prospects. However, it also faces severe challenges such as high vacancy rates, price wars, and supply-demand mismatches. Some companies are trapped in the dilemma of "having scale but no profits." In this context, pooling wisdom and pursuing collaborative development are particularly important. As a bridge connecting the government, enterprises, and the market, the Jiangsu Provincial Refrigeration Association is always committed to promoting standard setting, talent cultivation, and industrial cooperation, guiding the industry toward healthy and innovative development. The association will also work hand in hand with industry colleagues to seize opportunities, tackle challenges together, and drive the industry toward a new stage of high-quality, intelligent, and green development.

Mr. Liu Qi, Co-founder of Tianjin Qingniao Cold Chain Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd., pointed out that the domestic market for small and medium-sized cold storage facilities is currently facing severe challenges. The uneven capabilities of engineering contractors have led to widespread issues such as "lack of proper design, use of inferior equipment, poor installation, and absence of maintenance." These problems not only result in high energy consumption and frequent failures of cold storage facilities but also trap the engineering contractors themselves in a cycle of slow technological upgrades, high procurement costs, and weak competitiveness.

In response to these pain points, Qingniao Cold Chain has innovatively proposed the "Qingniao Model," which provides an end-to-end solution covering system design, equipment procurement, construction and commissioning, and engineering operation and maintenance. Through standardization, specialization, and digitalization, this model aims to enhance the value of the entire refrigeration industry chain, help companies reduce costs and improve efficiency, and achieve high-quality development.

Mr. Wen Jianzhong, Chairman of Suzhou Xinya Technology Co., Ltd., proposed that refrigeration engineering contractors should break away from the traditional "red ocean" of low-price competition and transform into regional "cold storage management and service centers," thereby carving out new profit streams in untapped "blue oceans." He emphasized that achieving this transformation requires five key elements: First, leveraging an algorithmic platform with big data analytics capabilities to provide intelligent support for operational decision-making. Second, establishing a stable and cost-effective supply chain system to solidify the foundation for products and costs. Third, utilizing a platform that offers multi-dimensional empowerment in business, technology, and qualifications to enhance the comprehensive capabilities of engineering contractors. Fourth, deploying IoT-enabled electrical control boxes to enable real-time collection and monitoring of cold storage operational data, driving management toward precision. Of course, transformation relies not only on technological and model innovation but also on the conviction and execution power of entrepreneurs. Only by actively embracing change and decisively implementing plans can companies seize the initiative in industry upgrading and achieve the value leap from mere installers to comprehensive service providers.

Mr. Ma Jie, Vice President of Marketing at Zhejiang Xinrui Welding Technology Co., Ltd., stated that the refrigeration industry is currently undergoing a fundamental "transformation in connectivity," where traditional pipe connection methods have become a bottleneck in terms of cost, efficiency, and reliability. Mr. Ma pointed out that compared to copper, aluminum offers significant advantages in material cost (approximately 1/4 to 1/5 that of copper) and weight (about 1/3 that of copper), with brazing technology emerging as the key to driving industry upgrading. To address this industry challenge, Xinrui has launched an integrated solution centered on high-performance aluminum brazing paste technology, empowering enterprises across multiple dimensions: streamlining processes and reducing reliance on highly skilled welders in cost and manufacturing; helping products meet high energy efficiency standards in efficiency and performance; and ensuring compatibility with eco-friendly refrigerants like R290 and R32 in environmental compliance. Furthermore, Xinrui provides customized brazing materials, expert technical support, handheld tools, and fully automated production line solutions. Having participated in drafting the GB/T 13815.1-2025 national standard, the company aims to provide the refrigeration industry with a more reliable, economical, and future-oriented foundational technical support, jointly advancing technological application and industrial upgrading.

Mr. Jin Geng, Chairman of Zhejiang Zeshun Refrigeration Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a detailed analysis focusing on the novel universal self-balancing expansion valve, covering its application scenarios, advantages, working principles, and manufacturing capabilities. He explained that Zeshun's core product, the innovative universal self-balancing expansion valve, can automatically regulate flow based on the pressure difference between the high and low sides under varying operating conditions. By utilizing a frequency conversion compressor to drive the multi-stage throttling of the valve core, it optimizes both cooling and heating performance. The product boasts a wide range of application scenarios and offers advantages such as high-efficiency compatibility, backed by relevant patents. Furthermore, Zeshun is investing over 20 million yuan to establish an intelligent manufacturing workshop, with a designed annual production capacity of 5 million units. This facility will ensure product reliability through high-precision equipment for controlling the accuracy of valve cores and seats, stringent quality control of springs, and rigorous linear testing before shipment.

Mr. Jia Shipeng, Chairman of Chengsheng (Beijing) Network Technology Co., Ltd., stated that as competition in the refrigeration and air conditioning industry intensifies, digital transformation has become an inevitable trend. In response, Chengsheng Technology has launched the "Cold Flame APP"—a resource integration and digital office platform dedicated to empowering the industry, assisting enterprises in efficiently completing their digital transformation. Developed based on thirty years of industry experience, the platform integrates 28 functional modules including sales, inventory management, customer relationship management, remote equipment monitoring, and after-sales service dispatch, covering the entire process from business operations to enterprise management. It is committed to helping companies achieve "360-degree seamless management." Furthermore, the Cold Flame APP has established a comprehensive product system comprising "basic modules + business support modules + intelligent modules," complemented by an enterprise backend management and big data analytics system. This enables real-time monitoring and intelligent analysis of multi-dimensional data such as sales figures, user behavior, and energy efficiency. As a deeply specialized application platform in the vertical sector, the Cold Flame APP aims to replace traditional generic office systems, supporting refrigeration and air conditioning enterprises in advancing their digital transformation with low costs and high efficiency, thereby fostering a new ecosystem of collaborative development within the industry.
