Pure Air Distribution will now provide the manufacturer’s technology nationally, along with support services
Hitachi Air Conditioning Europe has reached an agreement with UK-based Pure Air Distribution to supply its products nationwide.
The agreement means the distributor will be providing all of Hitachi’s air conditioning products across the UK alongside pre- and post-sales support. Hitachi added that all products provided through the agreement would include product warranties.
Gboyega Obafemi, managing director of the Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning joint venture, said that the team behind Pure Air Distribution had many years of industry experience despite being a relatively new company.
Mr Obafemi said the distributor would have strong relationships with key consultants and contractors in the UK.
“Reflecting Hitachi’s own founding principals, Pure Air Distribution is committed to delivering air conditioning excellence and exceeding customer expectations, and we look forward to building a long-standing and beneficial business relationship with them,” he said.
Pure Air Distribution managing director Mark Houghton played up the opportunity of partnering with Hitachi in the UK air conditioning market.
