ZIEHL-ABEGG (based in Künzelsau, Baden-Württemberg, Germany) is one of the leading international organisations in the field of ventilation and drive systems with associated control engineering. Example areas of application for the products are heating and refrigerating systems, and clean room and agricultural systems. ZIEHL-ABEGG laid the foundations for modern fan drives as early as the 1950s in the form of external rotor motors that are still state-of-the-art today. Another field is electric motors that generate propulsion, for example in elevators, medical applications (computer tomographs) and deep sea underwater vehicles. ZIEHL-ABEGG Automotive began dealing with the topic of electrical mobility in road traffic in 2012.The high-tech company has a convincing production depth. ZIEHL-ABEGG employs 1,950 people at production sites in southern Germany. 3,450 people work for the company worldwide.
